Wedding Beauty

Saying 'yes' to the man of your dreams was the biggest decision of your life; well, looking your best on the big day will be the biggest task that lies ahead of you. On your wedding day, you will be the centre of attention, and whether it your friends or relatives, everybody would like to come near and give you their hugs. Not to forget, your smile will be captured forever in photographs- happy memories to look back upon with your husband or kids in years to come.

Thus, as your wedding day approaches near, you would want to focus on looking your best. The preparations for the same will start months in advance to ensure you look radiant on the big day.

Skin Care

Starting months in advance, a balanced diet, stress-free days, and moderate exercising are the simplest ways to ensure a glowing skin. In addition to these, a regular skin care regimen can help you look radiant on your wedding day. This would involve using a good cleanser in the morning, removing makeup before you hit the bed at night, and exfoliating once or twice a week to open up pores and remove dead skin.

It may be a good idea to visit a dermatologist to clear doubts you have regarding any impending skin problem. They may be able to guide you on the facials or peels to attain a picture perfect skin, and also suggest the right birth control pills to suit your body and skin type.

For a healthy skin, drink a minimum of six to eight glasses of water; water clears out blemishes and gives the skin a glow. Reducing your caffeine consumption will also help in your goal to obtain perfect skin.

Hair Care

Even though the wedding is months away, it is the right time to plan your hairstyle for the big event; find the right hairstylist and discuss with him/her what type of hairdo you would want to support that day. If you wish to change your hair colour or style, now is the time to experiment, rather than wait till the last day.

A regular hair care regimen like shampooing and conditioning with products suggested by your stylist will help you achieve gorgeous-looking hair that can be styled into an elegant hairdo.

Make Up

Your photos will stand as a testimony to how beautiful you looked on your wedding day. A perfectly made up face will reflect all the happiness that you feel within. While some brides book a professional make up artist for the big day and/or other events like bridal shower, engagement etc, it is possible to do your own make up too. You would however, need to conduct trial runs on yourself weeks in advance to decide your final look.

Healthy Mind and Body

In the months prior to wedding, start a moderate exercise routine to achieve a general level of fitness. Keep stress at bay through meditation and yoga and make your wedding preparations with a calm mind.

On your wedding, you should look every bit the radiant and beautiful bride; planning ahead is the key, and with simple treatments, you can achieve a beautiful look for yourself.
