  • Old Red Museum: This old 1892 sandstone courthouse served as the center of Dallas County life and government. It is a perfect place for a couple to have their wedding and reception. This ancient building has a Great Hall which has a 20 foot ceiling, artistic arches and eye catching chandeliers. This hall can fit in upto 300 seated or 500 standing along with ample space for dancing and catering. Apart from the hall there are two additional rooms for ceremonies and a private bridal suite. One can even opt to get married in one of the Old Red’s turrets. The building houses grand entryways made of marble and stone.
  • Aldredge House: This antique southern mansion was built in 1915 by William J. Lewis as a gift to his 20 year old bride, Willie Newbury Lewis. Couples from all over the country come here to get married to make their wedding a part of this romantic legacy which began in the 19th century. One can choose to set up the wedding ceremony on the terrace or in the garden. The mansion houses a baby grand piano to add to its antiques.
  • The Crow Collection of Asian Art: This museum located in the downtown of Dallas Arts District houses the collections of Asian art in the United States. Collections range from artistic traditions of Japan, China, India, The Himalayas and the Southeast Asia. Guests will feel a different ambience altogether as is they have traveled to the other part of the earth. One may have a cocktail party in the Jade Room and a seated dinner in the Indian Gallery. One may have access to the beautiful plaza and the garden filled with European sculptures at prior permission.

  • Hall of State: This place was built by the State of Texas for the 1936 Centennial Exposition. Just located near downtown, the Hall of State can be rented for weddings, social events, corporate dinners or meetings. One may take the vow in the Great Hall and dance under the sky in the clear tents set up in the front lawn. The food and the service are really appreciable. All these are available at a very affordable rate.
