Children are the life of any event, and this holds true for weddings as well. Not only do they make the atmosphere lively, they also have important roles to play in the wedding ceremony. Just like ladies’ shoes are dye-able and can be made to match any color outfit, the girls’ shoes too come in dye-able styles. The flower girl or young bridesmaid is usually dressed in colors that match the older bridesmaids. With the option of dyeing girls’ shoes, the younger members of the bridal party too can match their shoes with their gowns.

Girls can choose to wear pumps, slides, sandals, ballet slippers or heels depending on their dress for the day. Girls’ shoes are available in pretty designs and colors. A very popular style is the Cinderella slipper which essentially has transparent uppers; matched with a princess-style dress, these slippers can make for a lovely look.

While the options in bridal shoes for young girls may not be many, it is even more basic for young men. Though they can experiment a little with the color of dress shoes, when it comes to the style of the shoe their range is limited. Like their older counterparts, boys can wear patent leather shoes or oxfords to match their smart tuxedo suits.
