Classical Musicians
Music is an important part of any kind of celebration. Especially if it is your wedding. Hence, there are many couples who want classical musicians as a part of their wedding. There are in fact many opportunities when classical musicians can be used during the wedding ceremony.
For instance if the wedding is being held in a church than an organist is usually there to play the music. But if the wedding ceremony is being held in your home or garden then there are more than one occasion when you can include music in the ceremony. These are:
- On the arrival of the guests
- During the processional ceremony, when the bride arrives
- throughout the wedding ceremony
- Towards the end of the ceremony when the couple is walking down the aisle
To choose the best and an appropriate music for the occasion, you should select something that compliments the wedding theme. For instance, if the wedding theme is traditional, than select something that is traditional wedding music. It is advisable not to mix and match the two.
Music at the arrival of the guests
When the guests are arriving for the wedding and preparing to take their seats before the start of the ceremony, you can get the classical musicians to play the music. If you want to include live music for your wedding, than before hiring the musicians, make sure you check their repertoire. It is important that you ensure that the music they play suits your taste.
If you want to use recorded music, than there are many CD compilations which are available in the market. Traditionally, piano is an instrument that is a part of every wedding ceremony. But if you do not want piano to be played for your wedding, than you can select a collection of flute and harp music.
Music when the bride arrives, processional ceremony
This is one of the most exciting moment of the whole wedding ceremony. The arrival of the bride can be announced with much fanfare by playing the trumpet for the processional ceremony. The duration of this music piece is usually no more than two or three minutes. It mostly depends on the aisle length which the bride has to cover. The processional music should ideally end the moment the bride reaches the altar.
Music during the actual wedding ceremony
Traditionally there is one song or hymn that is selected by the wedding couple to be played during the wedding ceremony. It is good if you select a song or a hymn that is more simple to sing. This will get the guests involved and they will enjoy it more. You can also have a wedding singer to sing the whole wedding song on their own.
Recessional Wedding Ceremony Music
As the bride and the groom are walking down the aisle after the wedding ceremony, the classical musicians can play the celebratory music.
The inclusion of music in the entire wedding ceremony will only add charm and sparkle to the whole affair. Thus, making it a cherished time to remember for years ahead.
