  • Plastic cone or jacquard bottles
  • Fine needles or toothpicks

Tips to apply bridal mehandi:

  • First you have to make a fine henna paste. For this, you must sieve the dry henna powder and mix it will mustard oil. You can also hot mix of tea or coffee to it. Your paste should have a mud-like firmness.
  • Put the henna paste in a plastic cone or jacquard bottles. The cone or bottle must have a hole at the bottom. After you pour the paste into a cone you have to seal the mouth with a rubber band.
  • Now you should hold the cone tightly and softly squeeze the paste on your palm, body or feet and start making beautiful mehandi designs.
  • If you are applying mehandi on your palm then you must place your palm parallel and allow the patterned-paste rest on it till it dries completely.
  • When your beautiful mehandi designs are almost dry, you must gently daub cotton in sugar and lemon juice mixture. Apply this lemon solution softly on the designs so that it gives your designs a reddish-brown hue. This hue will last for several days.
  • Wash your hand with plain water apply mehandi oil. You must remove the mehandi only after 8 to 9 hours.
