Hi Kimberly, Our wedding was truly perfect in every way. It was so much better than we had hoped for and we really owe it all to Isabel. She was amazing. We had 106 people down there and there really wasn't a single thing that went wrong or that we would have changedif given the opportunity to do it again. The party began the minute our guests stepped off the plane and were greeted by Isabel with balloons, beers and sodas and the wedding truly turned into a 5 day event. Now that we are back from our Honeymoon, I have spoken to almost all of our guest who attended and they all have stressed to me that it was clearly the "best wedding that they have ever attended". By far some of the most memorable moments were from the ceremony in the church. Padre Ignacio was wonderful and the mariachis playing our music brought tears to our eyes. The flowers were gorgeous and the church with the locals peering in through the windows and doorways was just so charming. It really was our dream wedding. I am actually having dinner tonight with a friend of mine here in San Francisco who was married in Zihuatanejo with Isabel as her coordinator back in November. She also raves and raves about her experience and her wedding was spectacular. Tomorrow, I am having dinner with another girl who lives her in San Francisco who is planning a November wedding down there and is also using Isabel as her coordinator. So there is a whole group of us here in the Bay Area...and I think the Zihuatanejo wedding has really become a trend. - Lauren (March 22, 2002 - lauren@salon.com) Dear Kimberly, Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My daughter, Lauren Ford, was married on March 2, also in Zihuatanejo. It was truly the most wonderful and memorable event! Isabel Pais was also our coordinator, and she was fabulous. She helped us arrange flowers, cake, photographer, and the numerous details that made for a perfect wedding. She was always gracious and attentive. Isabel arranged for us and several of our guests to stay at (Playa la Ropa Condos). Our condo was beautiful and easily accomodated our family of 6. We enjoyed the beauty of the resort as well as its proximity to other hotels where some of our guests were staying. The staff at (the condos) was very accomodating. We were also pleased with services provided by the resort's salon. Our wedding was held in the church, Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe. Padre Ignacio Garibay officiated. He did a beautiful job. He was able to do most of the mass in English, and the parts in Spanish added so much to make the ceremony memorable for us, and all of our 106 guests. He was very personable and charming. Again, Isabel was so instrumental in making all the arrangements with the church and Father Ignacio. Our Spanish is pretty limited, so Isabel was invaluable! We then went to the restaurant Kau Kan for our reception party. It was terrific - beautiful place, excellent food, and perfect service. We continue to hear from our guests, and everyone wants to let us know that Lauren and Mike's wedding was truly incredible, and that the memories will last forever. We are still basking in the glow of the event! We would love to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to contact us. - Sincerely, Gail Ford (gailrford@hotmail.com) |

Dear Isabel,
Hello from Texas! How are you doing Isabel? I got the nicest email
from a girl named Tori looking for information about Ixtapa and having
you coordinate her wedding. Of course I had only the BEST things to
say about you. In fact, I told her you were perfect. |

Dearest Isabel ~ You are a hero! In the truest sense of the word, you make dreams come true. Our wedding was magical as a result of all of your hard work, and we will always be grateful! When my we decided to get married in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, we had no idea where we could get married, how everything would turn out, or how to make our marriage legal. Once we were introduced to you, our fears subsided. You constantly stayed in contact with us during the months that preceeded our arrival in Zihuatanejo. It was so reassuring to know that someone we trusted was there taking care of all the details. And upon our arrival, we knew instantly that our trust had not been in vain. Your insatiable attention to details never went without notice by either of us or any of our 75 guests. Your hard work showed in every memorable moment of our three day wedding weekend, and it will always be appreciated. From ordering all the flowers to securing the caterers, from arranging our trips to Ixtapa Island to coordinating our sunset cruise aboard the Tri Star Catamaran, and from organizing all the accommodations to finalizing the legal aspects of getting married in a foreign country, you were amazing! Isabel, we will never be able to thank you enough for all the hard work and love you put into making our wedding the most memorable event of our lives. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts. With love & gratitude, Alexandra & Christopher O'Gorman |
